John--First I must say THANK YOU! It is because of Pledge Page that I was able to keep everyone updated on my marathon, my dad's battle with Leukemia and I had an outlet for my emotions through the diary entries. Second I must say BEST of LUCK to you on your marathon--YOU CAN DO IT! You are doing a great thing to celebrate and honor Dave's life! I lost my father in May, just two weeks before my own marathon, but I still go back to my pledge page every now and then to read a nice note from a friend, a complete stranger or to read a diary entry during his treatment. I know Dave will be with you in Honolulu giving you strength and support each mile just as my dad did in San Diego. AND on your toughest mile--he will keep you going! JUST as luck has it--I NOW work for the North Texas Chapter of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society! SO JOHN THANKS for providing PLEDGE PAGE! Not only for the dollars it raises, but for the comfort it provides during the tough times! It puts a smile on my face to go to my online photo album of my dad and see his handsome face--THANK YOU! YOU ARE MY HERO! : ) When I participate in the Arizona Rock 'N Roll Marathon on January 11th I will wear Dave's name for you!
