I ran the US Half-Marathon Sunday morning with a lot of my TNT teammates. I hadn't run for two weeks prior to the race and I also stupidly stayed out almost all night the night before -- not good ways to prepare. Still, I did finish the thing, very slowly (2:28), but I finished. It was a beautiful course over the Golden Gate Bridge and the weather was absolute perfection, so even in my compromised condition I enjoyed myself. When I got home I slept for 16 hours.

I've gotten great fundraising support so far from my work colleagues who knew Dave, but I haven't really put the word out yet to a lot of my friends and family. I'm hoping that when I do I'll pull closer to my fundraising goal. It's just been tough so far to find the time to track down everyone's contact information. But I'll do it. So watch out friends and family, I'm coming after you for donations!
