I has been over three months since I ran the 2003 Honolulu Marathon in honor of my late friend Dave McCue. I've been very negligent about updating this site and about thanking everyone who helped me with financial contributions or with words of encouragement. I've finally posted some photos of the marathon and my Team in Training experience. I ended up running the entire race with two good friends of mine, Dave Innis and his daughter Kelsey. Kelsey is both a first-time marathoner and a leukemia survivor, so her race represented a victory on many levels. We finished the marathon in about 5-and-a-half hours, a long time to be out in the Honolulu sun. I wore a picture of Dave McCue on my shirt and thought about him, his wife Susan, and his daughter Zoe throughout the race. In Dave's memory and in the name of all cancer victims and survivors, let's keep up the fight against cancer. Thanks so much to all of you who supported me in this effort.
